Jesus never planted a church, a worship service, an evangelical outreach, or homeless shelter. Jesus made disciples. And this is what he asked of us (Matthew 28:19) and it’s what we strive to do. It is our hope that we build disciples so they will plant churches, worship, reach out, and serve the needy.
While we are thrilled that you are with us in worship, our joy is that our connection with God does not end there but sends us into a discipling relationship with others who have been following God. We learn from those who have gone before us how to pray, to read scripture, to serve, and to worship. We are never asked to do this on our own but to have others live this with us.
We have a variety of ways we can move into those discipling relationships from small groups to studies to prayer groups to service ventures. In each, we hope not to just have your involvement but to teach you the way of Christ.
